Nick's writing includes an episode of BBC prime time drama BETTER.
In 2020 he was announced runner up in the prestigious Red Planet Prize.
He previously worked as a storyline writer and scriptwriter for ITV continuing drama Emmerdale.
The pilot of his original drama was commissioned by BBC in 2016.
He currently has a number of projects in development.
A multiple-award winning journalist, Nick started in news before becoming the Yorkshire Post Arts Editor in 2004.
He is the North of England correspondent for Plays International, the Yorkshire Post theatre correspondent and his feature writing has appeared in the Independent and the Guardian.
He regularly reviews theatre for the Guardian in the North of England.
